Half-Day Safari Trip in Scotland focusing on Wildlife
A half-day The Wee Wildlife Safari Scotland Trip starts from Fort William, normally meeting at Banavie Locks Car park and heads south to cross the Corran ferry. Other meeting points can be arranged. From there we’ll explore the Kingairloch area looking for red deer, seals, and the elusive otter. We do occasionally find all of Scotland’s Big Five on this trip along with wild goats and numerous species of sea birds. Porpoise and dolphin put in an occasional appearance and the landscapes are nothing short of breathtaking.
Elusive as otters are you will also learn how, where and when to find them so that in the event we don’t spot them on the day you will be better placed to find them in your own time, using the knowledge gained on your trip. Your guide is also a very experienced wildlife photographer and can give you valuable help in getting close to the species to get photo’s that will enhance your holiday memories. And if you are not a photographer, any good photographs taken on the trip will be forward to you afterwards. You’ll also learn about the flora, geology, and history of the area.
And everyone is blown away by the silence…
