Uganda Gorilla Trekking Tour

Gorilla Trekking Tour in Uganda

A 4-day Uganda Gorilla Trekking Tour which is moderately paced available on request in the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park where over three hundred (300) Gorillas live in this beautiful high altitude natural rainforest. This 4-day Uganda Gorilla Trekking Tour offers you the chance to do something that only 2% of the world’s population has ever done and see the most magnificent primates on earth!

Uganda has a number of mountain gorillas, spread across multiple groups in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and Mgahinga National Park. These rare, shy creatures inhabit high-altitude forests, and can sometimes be spotted along Uganda’s hiking trails. If you would like to hike with these majestic animals or just observe them from a distance, Uganda gorilla trekking could be your best bet.

For those seeking close encounters with our mountain gorillas, it is in its entirety a full-day gorilla trek. From getting up early to start trekking before sunrise to spending 6 to 8 hours out in the forest in search of a troop of gorillas. It’s a very exciting and memorable experience once we find them. During your time out in the forest with these gentle giants, there are rules and regulations to follow so everyone can have an enjoyable experience.

The Bwindi Impenetrable National Park covers 760 square kilometers. There are two habituated gorilla groups, 3 habituated chimpanzee groups, and many other species of primates such as baboons, red and blue monkeys (including black and white colobus), bush pigs, hippos, tree-climbing lions, leopards, and a myriad of bird species.
