Wildlife Photography Tour in Pantanal, Brazil
Pantanal photography tour is an eight-day wildlife photo tour in Pantanal, the world’s largest tropical wetland. It is located in the Mato Grosso state in southern Brazil. A large part of the territory is flooded during the rainy season (November through March), allowing the ecosystem to sustain a high diversity of wildlife. The Pantanal ecosystem is also thought to be home to 1000 species of birds, 300 species of mammals, and 480 species of reptiles. This high wildlife diversity makes Pantanal the prime destination for a Pantanal photography tour in Brazil, especially for birds and mammals.
