Palos Area Bird Trip, Andalucía, Spain
40

half day birding trip beyond the mouth of the river Tinto and before the Doñana area. For birders, there is an oasis for the wildlife between the industry and the strawberry fields. You will visit the edge of the river to look for waders and seabirds. Then, many water birds are waiting at the Domingo Rubio´s Creek and the restricted area of the Lake Primera de Palos that was recently restored by the oil company.

I had a briliant day with Manu six years ago and have now just returned from Spain having had two excellent trips with Maria. Just as Manu did last time, Maria demonstrated really good local knowledge and very keen eyesight ! She was friendly and helpful, making sure everyone got the most of the .day Lots of birds sighted including Black and Griffon vultures, three types of Eagle (including Bonelli's), Blue Rock Thrush etc. Highly recommended.

Manu picked us up from the hotel on the day of our trip...the hotel made a packed lunch for us... he took us back at the end of the day after seeing an incredible amount of birds. We enjoyed our bird watching trip with Manu so much we booked another day out with him before we got back to our hotel. He is very knowledgeable about the area, the wildlife, (especially the birds) the culture and the history, a particular interest for my husband. We had access to places which are not open to the public, an amazing opportunity to view the wildlife in very natural and undisturbed habitat. There is so much to see in the area that we can't wait for our next visit.
