Wildlife Photo Safari in Norfolk
Our 3-day Norfolk Wildlife Photography Safari is lead by the award-winning David Tipling and offers an unforgettable evening photographing Barn and Tawny Owls under the cover of darkness.
This long-established feeding site attracts in winter up to ten Barn Owls that can be photographed using flash under floodlights. David can supply flash equipment and provide full tuition to capture some memorable images.
The North Norfolk coast is one of the most biodiverse and beautiful parts of Britain. Come and join David and explore its photographic potential. From beaches dotted with cute seal pups to winter skies full of skeins of geese, the photographic potential is huge.
Our days are relaxed and fun but aimed at enjoying some great wildlife photography in Norfolk. We work around the weather and the times of year to optimise opportunities so you get the best out of a visit.
There are some Norfolk wildlife specialties that we are experts in creating a photographic opportunity for. Some of these include Barn Owls hunting during the day in late winter and hares in flower-rich meadows in spring are two favourites. We will seek out elusive Bearded Tits in coastal roadbeds, visit wader rich estuaries and enjoy a photographic feast from our woodland hide where a wide variety of visitors include Sparrowhawk and Buzzard.
Each day is very varied unless you wish to tailor a day to a specific subject such as owls or hares and we include lunch in one of North Norfolks famed eateries.
Tour Highlights:
- Close encounters with wild Barn Owls.
- A visit to our hides in private woodland.
