Amazonia Wildlife Jungle Tour
A 7-day tour including lodging, meals, plants and the guidance of a master specialist in botanic. This is a program that includes the initiation to the dead rope plant Ayahuasca and master plants from Amazonia. During the tour, you will hike to the forest with the aim of identifying master plants and trees that will be used in the ceremonies (approx. three hours).
The dead rope plant, known as Ayahuasca (or the link between the world of the alive and the world of the dead people), has been used for centuries by aboriginals of Peruvian amazon with the clear objective of healing the body and the spirit of people in pain, that is also looking for a balance in their lives. The ceremony takes you to an astral travel to find yourself with the aid of the Ayahuasca master plant. It also helps to discover any physical illness you may be unaware of. The ceremony that is performed at night initiates with the songs of the Shaman, the ones that are known as ICAROS, this song will make you plunge in a deep spiritual plunge, just to get you started in this initiation process. Then, during three hours in average time, you will also experience physical conditions that will manifest as vomiting or an upset stomach, in addition to hallucinations.
This Tour will also take you to the Cocococha Lake, to watch a family of Giant River Otters, several bird species such as the rare Hoatzin or Stinky bird, the Hornet screamer, the Cocoi Heron, the olive Cormorans or Puma Heron, among others, there also the chance to spot black Caymans. Jungle hikes on the most comprehensive trail system in the amazon with more than 24 Km of different paths to explore the richness of this pristine forest.
The river excursion at night on the Tambopata River is also an exciting part of the tour.
