Isle of Mull Birding and Mammal Tour

The Isle of Mull has been called the UK's premier wildlife-watching location. Why not join us at this brilliant time of year to visit this wildlife paradise for our Isle of Mull Bird Watching Trip?

The Isle of Mull is rich in raptors, the best place in the UK to enjoy wonderful views of both White-tailed and Golden Eagles along with an excellent chance of seeing Hen Harrier, Short-eared Owl, Peregrine and more. Visiting this beautiful island at this time of year means we have it almost completely to ourselves as we enjoy our special Isle of Mull Bird Watching Trip at a time when wildlife activity is high.

The island is justly famous for its healthy population of otters which we should encounter during our stay. The seas around the island also abound with wildlife from grey seals and minke whales to abundant seabirds. During our stay, weather permitting, we will take a boat trip from the island to get up close and personal with the White-tailed Eagles, giving ideal photographic opportunities of this charismatic raptor and many of the other seabirds. Expect to see plenty of wildlife during our stay in this magical part of the world.

As always, we will be taking a special small group of up to a maximum of six guests with at least two guides to make sure you have a wonderful experience on our Isle of Mull Bird Watching Trip with the best possible views of all the birds and mammals we encounter along the way. Based at our wonderful comfortable hotel for the duration of our Mull Birdwatching Trip, where all our rooms have sea views so the wildlife-watching can start right from your bedroom, we head out in a different direction each day to enjoy the very best birds and wildlife the Isle of Mull has to offer.

Top Five Tour Highlights:

  • Encounters with engaging otters as they fish amongst the kelpbeds
  • Watching Hen Harriers as they float in a ghostlike manner over the moorland
