This one-and-a-half-day tour is timed to produce the ideal combination of birds and butterflies. A visit to the National Trust reserve at Collard Hill should produce wonderful views, plenty of birds, and the main target species – the Large Blue, Britain’s rarest butterfly. Elsewhere on the levels and the coast there is a huge range of woodland, marshland and coastal birds, many busily feeding their young.
