Iberian Lynx Tour in Sierra de Andújar, Doñana
This 6-day Iberian Lynx Tour is specially designed to enjoy Nature in two of the most important ecosystems of the Iberian Peninsula such as the Mediterranean Forest and the marshes and forests of Doñana.
We will travel for 6 days to two natural spaces where the most threatened feline of the planet, the Iberian Lynx, still lives. From 2000 to the present day, we have been working with the species to increase the number of individuals that can re-conquer those territories from where it disappeared decades ago.
In search of this wonderful and threatened animal, we will tour the pastures of Holm Oaks and mountains of the Natural Park of Andújar in Sierra Morena, the Sotos, Glens, Veras and Forests of Doñana. These two natural reserves located in Andalucia are possibly two of the places where nature is still in its best-preserved state.
Here we will observe such interesting species that coexist with our Iberian Lynx, such as the Iberian Imperial Eagle (Spanish Imperial Eagle), Black Vulture, Golden Eagle, Focha Moruna (Red Crested Coot), Imperial Garza (Purple Heron), Blue Elanio (Black-shouldered Kite), Hispanic Goat (Spanish Ibex), Otter, Gamo (Fallow Deer), Muflon (Mouflon) and many more.
Our expert guides will accompany you throughout this Iberian Lynx Tour and explain everything that takes place around the world of the Iberian Lynx, its protection, the conservation projects that are being carried out, the main threats they suffer, the new protection measures that are being carried out for its protection and everything related to the ecology and biology of this threatened species.
