Giant River Otters and Birding Tour
This 4 days Tour will take you to the spectacular Tres Chimbadas Lake, to watch the incredible Giant River Otters, in a pristine environment in which a family of seven Otters, like to fish, play, or feed on the abundant fish species in the lake. You will have great chances to spot Black Cayman, and fantastic bird species as rare as the Hoatzin, the Puma Heron, the Tiger Heron, and the striated heron, the Jassana or the Tuki Tuki. The lake has a very intense animal activity in early mornings when all wildlife is awakening.
You will also visit the highest lookout in the amazon at 46 meters, to enjoy the best view you can have on top of the canopy, this will enable you the possibility of spotting some of the greatest bird species such as the Harpy Eagle, The King Vulture, the Ornate Eagle, the beautiful and colourful Macaws, Toucans, Arasaris or even Red Howler Monkeys.
At night the river excursion to spot White Caymans is an exciting activity that will give you the chance to do great shoots of this amazing species that are used to hunt at night.
Visiting a local plantation is a colourful and tasty experience that will allow you to discover jungle plant species so interesting such as the Copoazu or White Cacao, the Cocona or yellow wild tomatoes, the wild cacao or Macambo, different species of bananas, pineapple, the noni, and jungle species of avocados among others.
