Birdwatching Trip in Yorkshire
The Great birding trip in Yorkshire Forest is one of the few areas of large landscapes in England we can truly call a forest. Habitat networks link the landscape over 30 miles to the extent between Scarborough and Sutton Bank in the west. The area is a complex mosaic of ancient woodland, semi-natural woodland, mixed woodland, and commercial forest, all set within the beautiful North York Moors National Park. There are four main forest areas; Broxa, Langdale, Dalby, and Cropton. Within and around the edges of the forest are many beautiful and historic North Yorkshire villages.
