This is an 11-day Jim Corbett National Park Safari where you get a chance to explore one of India’s finest national parks! If ever there was a jungle that would replicate a paradise, this is it! With breathtaking landscapes of the great Shiwalik ranges, vast meadows straight out of a Hollywood country flick, dense woods and rivers meandering peacefully through the changing terrains, Corbett is a day dreamer’s fantasy!

It wasn’t for nothing that its magnificence was awarded by making it India’s first national park in 1932. Named after the legendary Jim Corbett, the long dusty paths and the lush, green forests still echo the hushed footsteps of the great man! Jim Corbett lived in these mighty foothills of the Shiwaliks, he hunted and conserved and in the process paved the way for India’s conservation success!

Set up around a surreal surrounding every aspect about Corbett is uniquely aesthetic. A haven for wildlife enthusiasts, the Corbett National Park is home to an abundance of wildlife and has loads of surprises in store for visitors. The Ramganga which flows through the national park breathes life into the biome and many times you can find Asiatic Elephants and even Royal Bengal Tigers wading through the swift waters. A few days in this rich land is sure to leave you more contented than ever.

A drowsy feeling of bliss and tranquillity creeps through your veins, ultimately putting you in a trance. And when you reach back home you realize the overwhelming power of nature. Corbett makes you a happier human being.

Pangot and Sattal are known as bird watcher’s paradise and live up to their name with more than 200 bird species seen here. Tucked in the foothills of Himalayas, the montane slopes are full of resplendent hues. Avian beauties of all sizes and shapes and colours can be found.

Day 1
Day 1 - Delhi

Fly to the capital of the country, Delhi! On arrival, meet your tour mentor who will be with you for the entire tour. Transfer from the airport to your hotel in Delhi for overnight stay.

Day 2
Day 2 - Delhi-Ramnagar

Wake up in the morning and leave for Ramnagar, the gateway to the Jim Corbett national park. (travel time: 269 km / 5 hr 30 min) On reaching Ramnagar, check-in at the resort. The resort is set amidst lush green forest with the river ‘Kosi’ flowing at the back. Lunch and time to rest.

In the evening, set out on a short birding trail along the Kosi River. Overnight at resort.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner

Day 3
Day 3 - Ramnagar-Dhikala

Leave early in the morning for Dhikala. We will enter through the Dhangari Gate.

Dhikala is around 40 Km inside the jungle from the gate, hence making the journey a safari itself! Enjoy the safari till the rest house as you sight various birds, mammals and if luck favors we might encounter an Elephant or even the majestic Royal Bengal Tiger.

Check-in into the forest rest house, time for rest. These rooms are basic but comfortable. Post lunch leave for your safari in this forest which is famed for its wild elephants and the Tigers! The evening safari is around 4 hrs and you will move through different roads in the forest in search of the wild. Return to the rest house by evening. Dinner and overnight at Dhikala Forest Rest House.

Day 4
Day 4 - Dhikala

Another day at this magnificent place. Enjoy the Morning & Evening safari. The park is known for its population of the fearless master predator, the Tiger. Corbett is a safe haven for a variety of mammals, reptiles, amphibians & birds. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.

Day 5
Day 5 - Dhikala – Pangot

Morning safari in the core zone. Return to the rest house, pack up and leave for your next destination Pangot. (travel time: 75 km / 2 hrs 10 min) Pangot is a small village 13 kms from a famous hill station Nainital and a birder’s paradise.

On arrival at Pangot, check-in at the hotel followed by lunch. Later leave for a birding trail in search of the Himalayan bird. Evening at leisure. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 6
Days 6 & 7 - Pangot & Sattal

Enjoy morning and evening bird watching sessions in Pangot & Sattal. Tucked in the foothills of Himalayas, the montane slopes are full of resplendent hues. Avian beauties of all sizes and shapes and colors can be found. Bird watching activities include on foot nature trails as well as studio sessions. Overnight at the hotel.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.

Day 8
Day 8 - Pangot-Delhi

Leave for your last early morning birding trail. Return to the hotel for breakfast. Later pack up and leave for Delhi. (travel time: 341 km / 7 hrs 15 min)

On arrival, check-in at the hotel. Evening at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.

Meals: Breakfast at the hotel.

Day 9
Day 9 - Delhi

Wake up at leisure, post breakfast leave for sightseeing of some famous places like India Gate, Red Fort, Qutub Minar, Humayun’s Tomb. Return to the hotel for some rest. In the evening visit the Lotus Temple. Overnight at the hotel.

Meals: Breakfast at the hotel.

Day 10
Day 10 - Delhi – Agra

Post early breakfast, leave for Agra by road (travel time: 240 km / 3 hrs 30 min) On arrival, check-in into the hotel and rest. Later visit the famous Taj Mahal, which is one of the 7 wonders of the world and a historic monument in India. Spend time at the Taj Mahal and shopping on the streets in Agra. Later transfer back to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Meals: Breakfast at the hotel.

Day 11
Day 11 - Agra – Delhi

Leave for Delhi early in the morning by road. (travel time: 240 km / 3 hrs 30 min) Later transfer to the airport to board the respective flight back home.

What is the standard accommodation and vehicle sharing arrangements?

The accommodations are always on double sharing basis unless otherwise opted for. Single sharing basis attracts an additional nominal fee, while triple sharing allows you to be eligible for a small discount. Safari vehicles, as well as internal transit vehicles (such as SUVs), are usually shared between 4 people unless indicated otherwise. Exclusive jeeps can be reserved by a group after paying a surcharge. (group size less than 4)

Is it safe?

Open jeep safaris & even nature trails conducted by us follow the highest safety standards, and we take all necessary precautions involved. We respect the wild animals and their comfort and keep adequate distance while photographing them. However, it's worthy of noting, that being cautious goes a long way in preventing any mishaps.

How is the climate?

The temperature in summer reaches 40 degrees Celsius. The mornings are hot but it gets pleasant in the evenings. The temperature in winters may drop to a minimum of 1 degree Celsius. Traveling during both the seasons has its perks!

Who can be a part of this tour?

The jungle can be visited by anybody who is fond of wildlife or is a first-timer. It is apt for anybody who wishes to experience this journey. Children of any age group, accompanied by adults can be a part of the safaris. For a detailed inquiry, you can always ask our experts for advice.

What do I pack for my travel?

Apart from the season-wise apparels, we recommend you to only wear comfortable clothes with colors that will go with nature. Bright colors like red, orange, white, yellow etc are a strict no-no. We will provide a detailed list of things to be carried before the tour.
