We brought a non-profit group of 20 members and guests from the United States to Chile and did visits to both Parque Pumalin and Parque Patagonia - including the long drive on the Carretera Austral from Coyhaique down to Parque Patagonia. Throughout the planning, Birds Chile was responsive, helpful, and understanding. They provided excellent customer service in all of our communications in advance of the trip, and amazing in-person service as well. The drivers and guides were always punctual, knowledgeable, and friendly. Isabel and Marcela (our guides) become like part of our family during our time with them in the national parks. Some of our members arrived early to Puerto Varas and used Birds Chile for smaller birding tours and private hikes, and had amazing experiences. We cannot rave enough about amazing this company is. They truly made Chile feel like home. Supporting this small, family-owned, eco-tourism forward business is worth your time and money if you want to have an amazing trip to Chile.

We did a 2 weeks tour with BirdsChile in 3 locations and 3 guides: Santiago and Valparaiso region, Arica/Putre/Altiplano and Puerto Varas/Chiloe. The 3 guides were very good, we saw a lot of birds and discovered the culture of the country. The organization was nice, with good communication and good choice of hotels. It was a perfect naturalist trip.

Did two really great small-group trips with a highly knowledgable and engaging leader (Filipe). Didn't matter that we are not twitchers and more interested in general natural history. Went to some fantastic places - estuary one day, temperate rainforest the other - and saw lots of birds and plants. Only slight criticism was the amount of sitting in a minibus on one of the days - those in the back couldn't see as much. Highly recommended!

Our bird trips were outstanding. Good choices of tours and we saw a lot of country, birds, animals and plants. Our guide had an excellent knowledge and was very much into conservation. The company was easy to deal with, emails being answered almost immediately. I would really recommend Birds Chile as a company that does its absolute best.
