This 4-day birding program is recommended for birdwatchers and for nature lovers who want to have unusual activities in Cusco. Here you will have a deep contact with the Peruvian jungle camping one night in the middle of the Cusco Cloud Forest. Expect to see Taczanowski’s Tinamou, Peruvian Piedtail, Olivaceous Thornbill, White-tufted Sunbeam, Masked Fruiteater, Vilcabamba Tapaculo, White-browed Tit-Spinetail, Line-fronted Canastero, Streak-fronted Thornbird.
We will start the tour at 05:30 am picking you up from your hotel in the city of Cusco and we will go 30 km south of the city. Many species of birds reside in the area all year round, but depending on the time of the year we can also find migratory birds that visit us from other continents. Upon our arrival we will go to the different strategic points during the next three hours to try to spot as many birds as possible. Approximate return to Cusco at 11:00 a.m. After lunch (lunch is not included) we will start our walking tour at 15:00 hrs with the pick-up of your hotel or restaurant and walk through the city center, where we will visit two important buildings such as the Cathedral of Cusco that contains many paintings of the Cusco school and the imposing Temple of the Sun also known in Quechua as the "Qoricancha" considered in the time of the Incas as the most important sanctuary dedicated to the Sun God. At 18:00 we will go to Ollantaytambo town where we will spend the night

At 5:00 am we will start the adventure going to Las Peñas (40 minutes from Ollantaytambo). We are going to walk around one hour to continue later to Malaga Pass, where we going to spent the rest of the morning in the polylepis forest. Malaga Pass is at 4300 m.s.a.l.

At 11:00 We will continue by the road to the jungle until arrive (after 3 hours to Hidroelectrica point where we going to start our trek by 2 hours to Mandor waterfalls campsite. Overnight.
We will start this day at 05:30 hrs with a peaceful walk around the area and towards to Ruinas bridge. Once we get there we will explore the area in order to search for woodpeckers, tanagers and others peculiar species of birds. At 10:00 we will go to Aguas Calientes town to have our lunch (Lunch is not included) At 14:00 hrs our guide will be waiting in Machu Picchu entrance, to start the tour (tour duration: 02 hrs approximately) At 17:30 hrs you will go by yourself to board the train back to Cusco City
