Norfolk Wildlife Photography Tours
Norfolk Photo Safaris offer unrivalled opportunities to photograph Norfolk’s wildlife from Barn Owls and Hares to World-class nature spectacles such as the famed Knot roost on the Wash and vast seal colonies along the beautiful coast. We have our own wood with comfortable hides fitted with one way glass that allow opportunities to photograph secretive birds such as the Sparrowhawk.
Norfolk Photo Safaris started life in 2015 when wildlife photographer David Tipling was hired by a TV production company to guide a cameraman for a week filming Pink-footed Geese in North Norfolk. Following on from this David was asked by various photographers to guide them in pursuit of images of Barn Owls and Hares two specialities that feature prominently in the photo safaris we continue to offer.
David lives on the North Norfolk coast and knows the area and its wildlife intimately. Our photo safaris are designed to maximise photographic opportunity using David’s knowledge of both subject and photographic technique. David works closely with Olympus and can often offer loan kit if required.
Our ethos for a photo safari is to have fun, capture great images and explore a hidden North Norfolk well off the beaten track. We always take a break in the middle of the day to visit one of the regions award winning cafes for lunch, which is included in the price.
All photo safaris are on a one to one or one to two basis, we do not take individual bookings and put people together hence we offer discounts when two people book together.
The profits from income derived from the use of our hides in our woodland goes back into financing the management of the wood, developing and enhancing habitat to create new homes for wildlife. We are currently building an artificial Badger sett.
