Birds of Mallorca Tours

Mallorca Natural Tours is a local company based in Pollença, at the North of Mallorca. They organise birding and wildlife tours to the major natural areas on the island specialising in half and full day tours.

In the tours offered you can combine the best of birding, discovering Mallorca’s wildlife, landscapes, history, and culture. They also organise tours “a la carte” and personalised packages for several days in partnerships with other specialised tourism businesses on the island in order to meet your interests and requirements based on a code of ethics and responsible tourism principles.

The tour leaders are local professional biologists, ecologists, ornithologists, and naturalists. They have considerable experience in observing and studying Mallorca’s nature, excellent knowledge of the best sites and many of us have worked in protected areas and biodiversity conservation. We will go to unique wetlands, dense forests, secluded coves, majestic mountains, and stunning viewpoints to enjoy breathtaking cliffs and beautiful sceneries while looking for birds and other wildlife.

Mallorca has been for quite some time known among European birdwatchers and nature sweethearts as a noteworthy untamed life hotspot in the Western Mediterranean. In spring and harvest time a large number of transient flying creatures cross the island amid their long adventures. Undermined, uncommon or missing species on the landmass breed and can without much of a stretch be seen here, for example, Eleonora’s bird of prey, Black (Cinereous) vulture, Bonelli’s hawks, the endemic Balearic songbird and Balearic shearwater, Mustached lark, Purple heron, Red-knobbed Coot, Purple swamphen, Audouin’s Gull, European Bee-eater, just to refer to a couple.

Many types of orchids and endemic plants are found in the timberlands, sand rises, and mountains. The island offers you an extraordinary decent variety of living spaces, running from wetlands, sand rises and shorelines, Mediterranean scour, Holm oak and pine woods, old olive forests and agrarian land to rough precipices and high mountains.

Mallorca is additionally home to stays of old societies and conventions, for example, Bronze, Iron Age and Roman settlements, medieval mansions, sixteenth-century beach front watching towers, customary farmhouses and provincial engineering.
