Clark Expediciones Conservation

Clark Expediciones is a corporate member of YUCHAN Foundation, a leading Conservation group in Northwest Argentina that has already established two Nature Reserves in Cloudforest habitat: The Huaico Reserve on the slopes of San Lorenzo mountain ridge in Salta province and the Loma Chata Reserve on the border with Calilegua National Park in Jujuy province. They are both Important Bird Areas and have survived from regional intense forest destruction.

The 30% of tour profits go directly to conservation through YUCHAN for purchasing land, covering research expenses, maintaining trails in the reserves and providing vehicles, camp equipment and staff salaries during conservation and research campaigns in Yungas, Chaco and Andes habitats.

Clark Expediciones is also an active member of Aves/Birdlife Argentina since 1990 and all guides are local collaborators to environmental education programs.
