Other Andalucia Wildlife
Spanish Imperial Eagle. One of the most endangered eagles in the world and Iberian endemic which is one of the biggest eagles in Europe with the Golden Eagle.
Iberian lynx. One of the 2 main populations of the world’s most endangered cat is in Doñana! And the other one in Andujar, both in Andalucia!
Marbled Teal. A rare duck in Europe, well adapted to temporary, unpredictable fluctuated wetlands. Quite elegant.
Black-winged Kite. Formerly Sub-Saharan species, it expanded in Spain and Portugal, and more recently to France. Elegant bird of prey, they practice stationary flight like Kestrels. Its red eyes contrast a lot with the pure white of its chests.
